While the Oyster Perpetual might be marketed as an entry-level collection, its internals cut no corners, just like its iconic design and incredible history. Furthermore, I’d say that while the Submariner and GMT-Master have somewhat gone on to become more of a luxury statement, the Oyster Perpetual remains true to Rolex’s roots as a ‘tool watch’ with no superfluousness above all else.
