Constructed of 18kt white gold, this Day-Date ref. 118239 that I have here features the iconic three-piece link "Presidential" bracelet and its signature 36mm case with a fluted white gold bezel. Made in the year 2000, what makes this particular example special is that this watch houses a beautiful blue gradient ombre dial and applied diamond hour markers. Starting from its lightest blue tone at the centre of the dial, the colour beautifully shifts in a gradient all the way to a midnight blue at the periphery. While white gold is traditionally an understated metal, this blue ombre dial and the addition of diamond markers reminds you that this is not just any other Rolex.
