Lemania was one of the premier chronograph producers of the 20th century and one of a handful of brands that managed to produce an in-house chronograph movement. While today it might be more common for in-house calibres, for some context, it was so complicated and costly to produce an in-house chronograph movement that not even Patek Philippe or Rolex had one!
The 105 is one of Lemania’s flagship models and alongside their military chronographs, one of the most iconic. This example, crafted out of 18k rose gold is one of the earlier 105’s that features square pushers and elegant bevelled lugs. The dial on this example has certainly been used to its full extent and is not for everyone, but for those who love a bit of patina to their watches, this just might be the piece to go for.
